Welcome to “drop it like it’s hot”! This will be my new location to smear the internet with all my new food habits, recipes, work-out tips, and general healthy lifestyle stuff. I’m mostly creating this healthy space to keep my friendly reminders in my face so as to keep myself motivated, accountable, and on track with my new goals.
If you’re following this, I hope that you gain some of those same benefits from my posts and contributions.

P.S. For those of you strangers that may or may not follow, just a short preface on the name and ID for this bloggity goodness:
Name - My trainer has named my weight loss journey “Mission: Drop it like it’s hot!” I’m not much one for hip-pop-hop but I liked the name. So it stuck. Since it’s origination, the mission now has a team named “The Drop It Like It’s Hot Entourage” which includes but is not limited to my best friend Seth (my cheerleader), my friend Tori (the number nazi keeping me accountable on progress with weigh-ins and measurements) and my buddy Mark (the food gustapo helping me with recipes and staying on track with my eating habits).
ID - When I first sat down with my trainer at the gym and set out some nice firm goals, she asked me, “What is your goal to get down to?” My reply was “Size sexy pants!” She set a pant size for me but my personal goal does not have a numeric value — I just want to look great in the new body I create for myself. :o)
